Your Score: Good :)You scored 66% Best Seller, 70% Classic and 75% Fantasy/Sci-Fi!Oh, yes, somehow you made it. Did you cheat? I hope not. Sophocles is reported to have said, "I would prefer even to fail with honor than to win by cheating." Meh, I'll trust you this time. Anyway, I hope you've had a good time.
Your rank: The Puzzle Dog (You know, a little bit of this, a little bit of that...) I object to the suggestion that just because I did well I might have cheated! |

I was just clearing the receipts out of my handbag and came across a CoOp one, for which I'd gone through the self-service tills. Usually they give the machines a name, so it says 'you were served by DEBBIE' or something like that. This one read.
You were served by C-3PO. |

Accept and except have different meanings.
Two and too may sound the same, but they also have different meanings!
Please make sure you use the right words when publishing a book! |

Thanks to those who texted etc. to see if I'm ok. Our home isn't directly flooded - although lots of the area is. We now have one route in and out of town. Our electricity has been affected, however, and went off at 4 yesterday morning. We've had a temporary supply overnight and are currently checking our equipment for damage caused by fluctuating supply, so I've grabbed the chance for a couple of minutes here. Not sure when I'll be back. I hope everyone else is safe and dry, and here's a pile of hugs for those who need it ------> *HUGS* |

After a trip to spend some of my birthday money in the local craft shop this morning, I am considering sending the following letter.
Dear sticker-making people,
While browsing in my local craft shop this morning I was HORRIFIED to see a set of stickers you have produced, the top one of which reads 'Your a star'. This should either read 'Your star' if you are referring to the star belonging to someone, or 'You're a star' if you are describing someone as a star; you apostrophe re being short for 'you are'.
Most ironically, the sticker next to it in the packet read 'good spelling'. I don't think you deserve to be awarded that one.
Yours etc. |
